Why they needed ConnectBooster

Tigerhawk Technologies’ growth projections and operations were strong, but the company’s invoices and payment requirements were consuming too much of their top executives’ time and attention. “I felt like we had everything under control with a good working system,” says CEO JR Bareis. “We had an online credit card system and ACH set up through our bank, so I thought we were in good shape with collections — except for all the extra work and manual labor involved.”

The Tigerhawk team creates and sends invoices to their recurring services contract clients on the first day of each month — a process that takes approximately two hours. Billing for one-off projects was conducted weekly, which required the CEO to take additional time and attention from his regular duties.

Bareis was so focused on running his business that he did not realize how much of himself he was giving to keep those processes and systems working. Despite that, his team still needed to manually send reminders and make calls to chase down overdue payments.

How ConnectBooster impacted their business

When introduced to ConnectBooster, Bareis immediately realized there was a better and faster way to get paid. “I thought there must be a catch or some sort of hiccup, but there is no better system for handling A/R, and it was so easy to integrate with Autotask. It’s been phenomenal!”

With the integration between ConnectBooster and Autotask in place, his team could view the status of outstanding payments and incorporate collections activities into incoming or outgoing account calls. The ability for customers to view invoices on-demand, with automatic reminders for overdue payments, eased Bareis’ workload and stress level.

“I no longer have to send out follow-up emails, which makes me very happy,” emphasizes Bareis. “The automatic reminders really help with those clients who manually access ConnectBooster to pay their invoices and it’s now a more consistent process. I get a message telling me the bill was paid, and the next time I open QuickBooks, the system automatically updates the information and I’m done.”
